We’ll be taking a short summer break from Wednesday 13th August to Wednesday 27th August, and will reopen on Thursday 28th August at 5pm.

On the first Saturday of every month, we host live lunchtime music in the bar, creating the perfect weekend vibe.
We’re excited to welcome Christian Smith for a live acoustic set from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Pair the music with something from our burger & cocktail menu, or enjoy dishes from our full main menu.

No booking needed for the bar — just walk in, grab a seat, and soak up the atmosphere.

We’re super excited to be part of what we think is the best music festival in Hertfordshire — and we’ve got something special lined up for you at Eight!

Join us for a relaxed yet lively evening with amazing acoustic acts performing live in the restaurant.

Our kitchen will be preparing homemade pizzas, fresh from the oven — the perfect pairing with a draught beer, a glass of wine, or one of our handcrafted cocktails.

A Taste of Portugal – Wine Dinner

Join us for a relaxed and flavour-filled evening celebrating the vibrant cuisine and wines of Portugal.

Enjoy a 4-course Portuguese-inspired menu, with each course expertly paired with a carefully selected Portuguese wine.
James will host the evening from Wine2Trade, who will guide you through each pairing and share insights into the wines, regions, and producers.

Expect bold flavours, exceptional wines, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Wednesday 24th September

Our Monthly Thai Night is a special nod to how Eight began. Before opening the restaurant, Kish spent years as a street food trader, cooking authentic Thai dishes from a converted horsebox. That journey made his dream of opening a restaurant in his hometown a reality.

Held on the last Wednesday of every month, Thai Night celebrates those roots with a menu of authentic Thai recipes, crafted using the best of British produce.

Prefer a cosy night in? You can also pre-order your meal for collection and enjoy it at home — slippers optional, but encouraged!
